The People’s Queen Street  was confounded by as a collaborative project for 100in1Day Toronto 2014 by two entrepreneurial socially engaged firms who are members of the Centre for Social Innovation: EN Consulting Group (ENCG) and UrbanID. Since March 2015, EN Consulting Group took the lead on the project joined by a growing group of volunteers.

We are leveraging on our professional and personal experience  in community engagement, urban planning, public consultations and event planning. We are committed to inclusion, transparency, creativity and having fun.

We believe leadership comes from participants and learning comes from all.

Project Lead EN Consulting Group Inc. (ENCG) enconsulting.ca – provides public consultation, stakeholder engagement services to a variety of clients in the arts, the public, non-profit and urban development sectors. ENCG facilitated a multi-stakeholder, multi-year engagement for the revitalization of the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, which included a major residential addition to the centre that received community support and City approval. We have worked with City of Toronto and the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas (TABIA) to engage BIAs along the length of Queen Street. Among many projects since 2005, ENCG has successfully led public consultations for public and private sector clients. Most recently for the Berczy Park Revitalization Project (City of Toronto) www.berczypark.org and the Concord Park Public Consultation (Concord Adex, City of Toronto) www.concordpark.ca. ENCG also provides support to www.livewords.ca a Toronto reading series.
